Former New-yorker he creates several successful brands after moving to L.A. One of which in collaboration with Adriano Goldschmied. By 2005 he sells J-Brand exclusively at Ron Herman's Melrose Jean Bar. He brings back to fashion the bell bottom jean he names "Love Story" after getting renowned for his skinny jeans. His collaborations include Hussein Chalayan and Proenza Schouler.
J-Brand collections combine style, comfort and sexiness. Twills and denims in unique washes and battled styles make each piece singular.
