Jason Wu is one of the most important figures of fashion at only thirty years old. Born in Taipei, he grew up in Vancouver and studied in Paris and Tokyo. From is multicultural education, he developed a perfect mixture of modernity and tradition. For his Winter 2012-2013 collection, Jason Wu draws one's inspiration from his ancestors and dives us into his Chinese origin. Three ways of China are offered: The Mao's People's Republic to the fantasized China by Hollywood in the 30's passing by the Qing dynasty's mark. The Wu's lines are perfect; luxurious, casual and trendy. He combines modern lifestyle dressing with the spirit and detailing of Haute Couture.
